Kakao launches KakaoPay for Android users

Kakao took an exciting next step in expanding its mobile platform business with the launch of KakaoPay on September 5th. Developed in partnership with global IT service provider LG CNS, KakaoPay offers an exceptionally convenient and secure mobile payment option for Korean Android users. Users can register up to 20 cards, all managed with a single password, to their accounts via the KakaoPay menu found within KakaoTalk’s Settings, and it boasts the highest level of security among Korean mobile payment services. Users can expect an iOS version before the end of year.
