KakaoGroup’s latest version has some cool new features, including a somewhat explosive addition…
New “time-bomb” groups
-Planning a surprise party? Reunion? Create a “time-bomb” group that will self-destruct after a certain date. The creator of the group sets the date for the group to disappear.
To create a “time-bomb” group:
Remember! There’s no going back once you set a date for self-destruction! Also note that you cannot set an existing group as a “time-bomb.”
Add voice notes
-Leave a voice message for your group members. You’ll see the Voice Note option when you tap the speech bubble to leave a message in your group.
Set groups as “Favorites”
-Choose groups to mark as Favorites and they will move to the top of your groups list. On Android, long-tap a group to add as a favorite. On iOS, choose a group and go to the “…” menu > General, and tap “Favorites.”
Improvements to group albums
-Swipe a photo to view or add a comment
-Sort photos by date
